Franschhoek Tourism has announced that its Bastille celebration, in partnership with global financial services business, Prescient, will take place at Franschhoek High School’s rugby field on July 13-14.
As Franschhoek is also known as the Cape's French outpost, the weekend festival will highlight gastronomic delights, exquisite wines, and all things French.
“Whether you choose to indulge in the abundant wine tastings within the iconic Bastille marquee, boasting festivities aplenty, with local fare food stalls and live entertainment, or prefer to explore the lively streets and undeniable atmosphere of the village united in its celebrations – there's something on offer for everyone to enjoy,” Franschhoek Tourism said in a press release.
This year's event will introduce a venue change aimed at enhancing the comfort of guests amidst the anticipated crowds and sold-out attendance.
