SA Tourism will launch its new television campaign tonight (September 17) focused on inviting people to travel as well as reinforcing health and safety protocols in the travel sector.
The campaign will be launched globally and encourages international tourists as well as South Africans to explore the country.
This follows the announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa that, from October 1, South Africa’s borders will reopen for international travel. The country will also move to the lowest level of lockdown on September 21.
