Kenya Airways will fly direct from the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa to Dubai four times a week from December 15. The airline said the introduction of the route was in response to demand.
The airline’s Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, Julius Thairu said: "The introduction of this route is strategic as it will open up the Kenyan coastal region, boost the tourism and hospitality industry as well as stimulate trade to the coastal city. This launch is part of Kenya Airways’ network expansion strategy and commitment towards supporting the recovery of the tourism and hospitality industry in Kenya."
Flights from Mombasa to Dubai will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. KQ 306 will depart Mombasa at 23h10 and arrive in Dubai at 05h45 the next day. The return flight KQ 307 will depart Dubai at 06h55 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and arrive in Mombasa at 11h20.
