Kola Beach Resort in Malindi Mambrui in Kenya has started with a series of upgrades.
Construction of the new conference room is under way and Naumi Makau, Front Office and Reservationist at the resort, says it will have the capacity to host 120 delegates. The conference facility will be fitted with a projector and screen, VGA/HDMI cable for laptops, white boards, clip charts, and in-room sound system.
Kola Beach Resort said in a statement that it aims to ensure business travel, incentives and team building become a strong focal point at the resort.
The resort’s 62 rooms will also be undergoing renovations that will see additional space added to the rooms, increased privacy and new furniture.
According to Makau, all renovations will be completed by July 1.
The guest rooms include junior rooms on the ground floor, major suites on the first floor – each with its own balcony – and family rooms on the ground floor with two rooms interconnected, ideal for families or large groups.
