The Crocworld Conservation Centre on the Sapphire Coast of southern Kwazulu-Natal has launched a new zipline and obstacle course. Dubbed Jikaleza Outdoor Adventures, the zipline and obstacle course gives visitors a chance to swing through trees of the aerial adventure park.
“We don’t want anyone to miss out on the launch of this exciting new adventure, which is ideal for the whole family,” said Romy Wenzel, Chairperson of Sapphire Coast Tourism. “This is a great way to get out and enjoy the Sapphire Coast’s natural environment, experience a bit of a workout and get the heart rate up while having fun!”
Busani Mthiyane, Crocworld Conservation Centre Animal Curator, who has tried the zipline adventure, said this tourism offering gives visitors yet another reason to come to the location. “Jikaleza Outdoor Adventures is one of the region’s only zipline adventures and definitely one to try. Run by an outside organisation, it offers visitors the ultimate rush of ziplining and performing aerial obstacles in the coastal forest at Crocworld – overlooking our unique wildlife and great views.”
The Jikaleza Outdoor Adventure includes two courses, Kulula and Impi, for ages seven and above with a height restriction of 1.3m and a weight restriction of 120kg. The course is completely safe for all users due to the Coudou Pro system from Italy, which complies with European Union standards. There are also plans to build a junior course.
