A MICE, Digital and Social Media Marketing Masterclass will be held as a precursor to this year’s Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit at the MTC Dome Hotel in Swakopmund.
The Summit will take place from May 30 to June 2.
Africa Tourism Partners, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism and the Namibia Investment, Promotion and Development Board, will roll out the Masterclass, which will target youth, SMEs and start-ups. However, any other interested tourism stakeholders may participate in the half-day training session.
The Masterclass aims to empower all delegates with practical skills in the application of social media marketing, business planning and investment pitches to potential investors.
Areas of focus include a digital and social media marketing masterclass, fostering professional MICE industry education, and leadership development for African youth and SMEs through MICE. Certificates of completion will be issued to all participants.
The focus areas will be presented and led by a faculty of renowned African experts in entrepreneurship, MICE and investment.
The programme of the day will be concluded by a one-on-one Business Exchange and networking session. This will be an opportunity for participants to mix, mingle, and exchange business ideas.
All interested participants are advised to register now, as there is limited space available. For registration, visit www.youthtourismsummit.com
