The 7th annual Pan-African MICE/Business Tourism Capacity Development and Continuing Professional Development Masterclass is set for July 16 and 17 and will be held at BDO Offices, Wanderers Office Park in Johannesburg.
Held in collaboration with BDO South Africa and a number of Industry partners – including the University of South Africa, SAACI, South African Tourism, SITE Africa and more – this year’s programme will feature expert and insightful presentations, interactive panel sessions focusing on industry-critical topics, while offering professional development, industry insights, networking and sales opportunities.
Delivered by Africa Tourism Partners (ATP), in conjunction with a number of renowned global experts, top decision-makers and professionals, the programme offers continuing professional development and capacity development opportunities for staff and officials across conference and exhibition venues, hotels, hospitality entities, professional conference organisations, professional events organisations, Government Officials (National, Provisional and Municipalities), educators and students.
To date, the Masterclass has connected over 1 200 African industry professionals, practitioners, youth, SMMEs and Convention Bureaux as well as National Tourism officials to learn, share experiences, knowledge and expand their networks.
This year’s event will therefore build on the success of the 2018 to 2023 editions and continue to connect industry stakeholder to build valuable relationships, and expand their network, while learning directly from the global and renowned MICE and tourism experts.
Among the critical learning areas are insights on new business generation, business sustainability, bidding in MICE, professional development and more.
