After extensive flooding across the Kunene River in Namibia, which caused Kunene River Lodge to close two weeks ago, the lodge has reopened today, May 2.

Katja Haase, Marketing Manager of the lodge, says: "The lodge is back up and running. The campsites are up and are also open. The roads from Ruacana and Opuwo are suitable for high-clearance 4x4s, but we suggest that for the next one to two weeks, guests who are driving up should know how to drive a 4x4 and should drive very slowly.”
