A new charter flight partnership between Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, and Absolute Aviation Group (AAG), will see flight capacity double on the Kwandwe-Port Elizabeth (PE) route.
The route previously carried only four guests on one return flight per day: from Kwandwe to PE in the morning, and from PE to Kwandwe in the afternoon. But from July 1, a maximum of 10 guests will be able to book the daily in-seat charter flights (pay per seat as opposed to booking the full charter aircraft) that fly direct from Port Elizabeth International Airport to the private Category 3 airstrip at Kwandwe.
“Most of our guests are international, arriving from Johannesburg, Cape Town or the Garden Route, into PE and on to Kwandwe,” said Graeme Mann, Executive Manager of Kwandwe, and this partnership will increase air arrival capacity and grow the reserve's private travel market.
Kwandwe guests will also be able to book private charters with AAG between the reserve and other southern Africa destinations. “Absolute Aviation Group offer jets and aircraft that can cater for long-distance travel, and guests choosing to book private charters to/from Kwandwe can now book through us with AAG for onward travel elsewhere in southern Africa, clearing customs in Johannesburg or Cape Town.” says Mann.
He continues that AAG offers superb support services for private jet clients, “so our guests with personal aircraft will be able to make use of their expertise in flight planning, ground handling, dispatch and customs clearance”.
Kwandwe Private Game Reserve with its private safari villas is ideally suited to groups and families.
