On July 2, Air Madagascar launched Tsaradia – a domestic subsidiary.
Tsaradia has a fleet of four ATR 72s and three DHT Twin Otters and will fly to 10 destinations from its hub in Antananarivo.
Destinations served are Nosy Be, Antsiranana, Toamasina and Toliara with two daily flights while Saint Marie, Sambava, Mahajanga, Morondava and Maroantsetra will initially be served once a day.
Air Madagascar said Tsaradia was a key part of the turnaround plan it was undertaking with Air Austral. The two companies aim to focus on long-haul network growth as well as the potential of the domestic market in Madagascar.
