Simbavati Trails Camp, a luxury walking trails camp, is expected to open in a secluded area of the Timbavati later this year, pending final environmental impact assessment approval.

Simbavati Trails Camp will comprise four en-suite meru-style safari tents and host a maximum of eight guests.

The rustic camp will offer bucket showers, filled on demand, and meals prepared over an open fire. There will be no electricity or cellphone reception.

Days will start with a four-hour walk with an armed specialist guide, followed by brunch. Afternoons begin with tea, before another two-hour walk, ending at a viewpoint at sunset, before a drive.

Simbavati Trails Camp does not accommodate children under 14 years old.
