Springbok Atlas Tours & Safaris has unveiled a 12-day tour taking clients to three African countries and including iconic highlights such as Cape Town and Table Mountain, the ‘Smoke that Thunders’ and the open plains of the Masai Mara.
The ‘South Africa, Zambia & Kenya Exploration’ tour takes advantage of Kenya Airways’ new flight routing between Cape Town, Livingstone and Nairobi, which came into effect in July 2016. The thrice-weekly flight operates on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and links with Livingstone in Zambia.
The tour begins in Cape Town, where four nights are spent at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel at the V&A Waterfront, and includes a full-day guided tour of the Cape Peninsula. Guests continue to see the Victoria Falls in Zambia with two nights at David Livingstone Safari Lodge, where guests enjoy a guided tour of the Falls and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
The tour then makes its way to Kenya for five nights, overnighting on the first night at the EKA Hotel in Nairobi. Guests explore the animal kingdom of the Masai Mara with three nights at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge in the Masai Mara National Reserve, with a final night spent in Nairobi at the EKA Hotel.
A deluxe package option is also available for guests looking for higher-end accommodation.
