David Todd has been appointed the InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Senior Director of new hotels in the Indian, Middle East and Africa region.

Todd previously held positions at IHG corporate office and hotels in the Middle East.

In his new role, he will be tasked with streamlining and accelerating IHG’s new hotel opening process. He will run various functions across the corporate offices in Delhi and Dubai, and build on existing and new relationships with IHG owners and business partners to achieve successful openings of hotels across his designated region.

Flight Centre Travel Group has appointed Tebogo Thekiso the new FCM Travel Solutions and FCTG Corporate boards Non-Executive Director.

Alshanthe Smith and Elizabeth Msiza have been appointed new events co-ordinators by the CSIR International Convention Centre (ICC), based in Pretoria.

They will be responsible for ensuring arrangements and execution of events, while still maintaining the organisation’s customer service standard.
