Lindi Mthethwa has been appointed as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing: Africa for Minor Hotels.
She joins Minor after a three year stint as Group Sales Director for BON Hotels. She started her career at the Sandton Convention Centre in 2004 before moving to various hotel units within the Tsogo Sun Group's Sales department.
After six years with Tsogo Sun, Mthethwa spent over eight years as the Regional Sales and Reservations Manager at the African Sun Hotel Group.
"With Lindi's positive drive, high energy, strategic sales approach and high-level contacts within the industry, she brings excellent experience into the commercial team," said David Garner, VP Commercial for Middle East, North Africa, Seychelles and Mauritius.
Sun City appoints VIP Services Manager
Sun City has announced the appointment of Kagiso Motsisi as VIP Services Manager.
In her new role, she will provide leadership to the VIP Services department and be responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of the VIP Services strategy and guest engagement.
In collaboration with her team, she aims to enhance relationships with current top-end gaming customers and increase the database, whilst adhering to gaming regulations, legislative requirements and company standards.
Motsisi has been with the Sun International group for 13 years.
New appointment for Providence Hospitality
Providence Hospitality has appointed Sarah Robertson as Head of Sales and Marketing in South Africa.
She brings 20 years of travel and hospitality industry experience to this new role, which will see the group expand its offering to include a greater focus on sales, advertising, content creation, traditional marketing and public relations functions.
Robertson has a B Com in Marketing and Management, a Diploma in Travel and Tourism and has held senior management roles in the industry.
