This week, Tourism Update wants to find out whether readers think Mauritius is fast becoming the gateway for travellers into Africa. Several international air carriers operate a Mauritius route – British Airways, Emirates, Air France, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SAA, Air India, eurowings, China Eastern and Lufthansa. Kenya Airways is now following suit with the launch of weekly flights. Mauritius has world-class beaches, and with its proximity to Africa it makes for a well-rounded beach and bush holiday.
