The Relais & Châteaux Association has launched the tailor-made ‘Route du Bonheur’, which allows guests to package their ideal holiday.
The tradition of la Route du Bonheur – or the road to happiness – allows travellers to vacation between manors, villas, and châteaux, exploring the Relais & Châteaux properties. 

Director of Relais & Châteaux, Annie-Claude Bergonzoli says: “Guests are encouraged to create their own Route du Bonheur from the 27 properties within our particular region and by doing so they will most certainly have a vacation of a lifetime and experience the unique diversity the region is renowned for.”

Areas guests can experience with Relais & Châteaux in Southern Africa/East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands are the Western Cape, Garden Route, Limpopo and the Kalahari Desert, Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Tanzania and the Indian Ocean Islands.
