The 2024 Seychelles Nature Trail competition will take place on Mahé on May 11. 

The event, which first took place last year, is organised is by the Department of Tourism, with other partners including Ilop Sport, an agency that specialises in outdoor activities based in Réunion. 

It is expected that the event will follow the same route as last year, beginning at the Constance Ephelia hotel, taking participants through several nature trails such as Anse Major, Mare Aux Cochons and Casse Dents, covering a total of 22km. 

This year’s event will seek to get more participants involved, with last year’s winner Greth Estico’s time of two hours 23 minutes the target to beat.

However, the competition is not only geared towards the sporting aspect, as it also gives participants the chance to enjoy the natural beauty of the Seychelles islands.
