The long-awaited expansion of Silverbirch@Birchwood has finally been completed.

Due to the popularity of the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre’s quieter portion dedicated to the more discerning traveller, Director Kevin Clarence announced that 80 more rooms would be added to the premium product.

The new rooms offer the same upmarket facilities including access to The Grill@One Twenty fine dining restaurant The Hotspot Bar and Lounge as well as the Mangwanani Spa – all of which are on the same property.

Added to this, currently being renovated is the Birchwood’s on-site café’, which will be changing its name to The BC Café in honour of the hotel’s late founder, Brian Clarence.
