Silverstar Casino in Muldersdrift has recently undergone a R560 million development. The venue unveiled the new entertainment complex at a massive launch event on November 14.
The complex now offers a 2 200-seat dome called The Globe, which can host expos and shows; a Boktown venue where over 1 000 spectators can watch games on a 62sqm state-of-the-art high-definition screen, and a Parker’s Comedy & Jive stand-up comedy venue. It also houses six new restaurants; a large Magic Company with the latest arcade games, a 12-lane bowling alley and a 450sqm hi-tech laser-tag games facility as well as a Movies@ cinema complex with the latest 3D technology.
“We’re very proud of our beautiful complex and are inviting guests to come and enjoy our new entertainment and dining experiences. We’re sure to deliver on our promise of offering entertainment for everyone,” says Shane Collinson, Director of Operations and Complex GM at Silverstar.
The Silverstar precinct also consists of an upgraded casino; Southern Sun Silverstar, a boutique hotel and Soulstice Day Spa.
