Two new and exciting hotels in Cape Town are soon to open their doors under the Lion Roars Hotels and Lodges portfolio.
The portfolio’s newest additions, the Kloof Street Hotel and the Old Bank Hotel are set to welcome guests soon.
The four-star Kloof Street Hotel on vibrant Kloof Street is set to open in December. Surrounded by trendy bars, artisan restaurants and locally owned shops, the hotel is ideal for business and leisure travellers who enjoy exploring the surrounding areas.
The Old Bank Hotel at the top end of St George’s Mall is also a four-star property due to open shortly after the Kloof Street Hotel. Originally a bank, dating from 1902, the building offers charm and sophistication. The hotel will have a restaurant, display wine cellar, the B&F bar, an indoor garden, lounge and a rooftop terrace where guests can take in views of the Mother City.
Lion Roars Hotels and Lodges has a variety of properties in its portfolio, including properties in Cape Town, Franschhoek, the Garden Route, the Eastern Cape and Port Elizabeth. It offers couples, families and business travellers experiences in the city, winelands, bush and the beach.
The group recently removed the Hyde All-Suite Hotel, African Oceans Manor on the Beach, Bay Lodge, Elephant Hide Guest Lodge and Tsitsikamma Village Inn from its portfolio and its Redbourne Country Lodge and Ibhayi Town Lodges have been closed to make room for the two new Cape Town properties.
