Sun Destinations has added two new safari camps to its marketing portfolio this year.
Afrika Ecco camp site in the Okavango Delta lets guests explore the untouched wilderness of Botswana and offers accommodation in the form of dome tents with en-suite bathrooms that contain bucket showers and eco-toilets. The bedroom has two stretchers with mattresses, duvets and pillows. Guests access Afrika Ecco via fly-in safari from Maun before taking a river transfer to the camp.
The second camp is in the Marakapula Reserve in Limpopo, next to the Kruger National Park. The reserve offers luxury accommodation in chalets at Makubu Lodge. Guests can take full-day excursions into the Kruger and surrounds. Phalaborwa is the closest town to Marakapula and it is a 25-minute drive from the local airport. Guests can also fly to Hoedspruit airport and drive the 70km to Marakapula Reserve.
