The Tanzania Tourist Board and Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority have signed a one-year renewable agreement to promote tourism to the two countries in international markets including US, Australia, China, India and Europe.
TTB MD, Devota Mdachi, and MTPA Director, Kevin Ramkaloan, signed the deal during ITB Berlin.
Speaking during the signing ceremony on the sidelines of ITB Berlin, Mdachi said: “Our commitment is to promote Tanzania and Mauritius as a twin tourist destination so that holidaymakers travelling to Mauritius can also tour Tanzania to experience our unique attractions.
“The visitors will enjoy game drives in national parks such as Ngorongoro Crater and Mount Kilimanjaro after sampling beach products in Mauritius.”
