Calling suppliers in East Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique.
Tourism Update will be increasing its coverage of African destinations in order to become even more relevant to our more than 25 000 monthly tourism trade readers overseas and in Africa.

Publisher Dave Marsh says a reader survey has shown that most of the overseas trade readers are interested in other Southern African destinations and East Africa and not just South Africa. “While most overseas readers have many clients interested in South Africa, they also have many interested in other destinations in Eastern and Southern Africa. They want an independent news service on these destinations,” says Marsh.

The new coverage will see the addition of five supplementary issues, each focusing on a destination or region. The supplementary issue will be included in our daily mailer that goes out to our database and the news stories in the supplementary issue will also appear on the news section of our website. Each country will have a dedicated day for coverage. The issues that will be added are: Zimbabwe and Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique and East Africa.
As part of this expansion, Tourism Update will be recruiting correspondents based in these destinations. If you know of qualified reporters in these countries, ask them to contact Tessa Reed at tessar@nowmedia.co.za.
