Uganda’s Ministry of Health has stepped up its COVID-19 measures by monitoring travellers from certain countries more closely.
Travellers from the Philippines, Finland, Indonesia and Pakistan will very closely observed by the Ugandan Ministry of Health.
The Minister of Health, Dr Jane Aceng, announced that travellers from 16 countries including Italy, France, Germany, the US and the UK, should consider postponing non-essential travel to Uganda.
The Ministry will be hosting a public dialogue at the Imperial Royal Hotel in Kampala on Friday March 13 to educate the public on COVID-19 and garner support for the national preparedness plan.
