South African National Parks (SANParks) Honorary Rangers Wilderness Region has announced its third Road Less Travelled trip through the Garden Route National Park from May 2-3.

There are three off-road routes to choose from, starting in the Island Lake Day Visitors’ Picnic Area and travelling through Karatara Forest, Windmeulnek, Platbos and Goudveld Forest, all within sight of the Outeniqua Mountains. All are completed with 4x4 vehicles that each seat four people.

“Each route leads through the National Park's unique dramatic landscape of indigenous forest, spectacular views and fynbos,” says Chairman of SANParks Honorary Rangers, Frances Feig.

The trips in 2017 and 2018 were well received and it will soon become a permanent annual event.
