The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (Zimparks) is extending the cut-off time for viewing the Victoria Falls from 18h00 to 22h00.
Zimparks Public Relations Manager, Tinashe Farawo confirmed to Tourism Update that in addition to extending the viewing hours, a number of other activities had been introduced in the area to meet the demands of the growing numbers of tourists visiting the attraction. Zimparks has introduced bush dinners in the evenings next to the statue of David Livingstone alongside the Falls. “These can be booked through our booking office by email,” said Farawo.
Night drives have also been introduced in the Zambezi National Park and a picnic site has been introduced alongside the Zambezi River. To book for Zimparks’ activities at Victoria Falls, email to bookings@zimparks.org.zw.
