Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge, the only private lodge within the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park in KwaZulu Natal, opened its doors on March 1.

Rhino Ridge is a joint venture with the local Mpembeni Community and the National Empowerment Fund. All villas and suites offer views over the reserve as well as access to the spa and pool. Guests can enjoy two game drives per day or opt to go for a bush walk with highly trained rangers.

Four of the bush villas have been opened and the spa is up and running. The honeymoon suite, which has its own plunge pool, will open shortly. By the end of the month some of the bush suites will also be open.
