Ker & Downey’s newly acquired luxury tented safari camp, Dinaka, will open in Botswana in March.
The camp is on a private reserve on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.
Francesca Hird, Marketing Director, said the 16-bed camp would have seven twin/double tents and one family tent.
The tents will be well spaced and raised on wooden decks, giving the perfect vantage point over a permanent water hole.
“Each tent will have an en-suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. The minimum age at Dinaka will be seen years old and the activities include game drives, night drives, walking safaris and a sleep-out deck,” said Hird.
The current safari lodge will undergo a total rebuild in December, transforming it into a new Ker & Downey camp.
