This week, the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) downgraded Namibia’s COVID-19 risk level from Level 3 (High Risk) to Level 2, which is classified as ‘Moderate Risk’.
Destinations carrying the ‘Level 2: Covid-19 Moderate’ designation reported 50 to 100 COVID-19 cases per 100 000 residents in the past 28 days.
Kenya and South Africa are also designated as Level 2.
Regardless of the risk classification levels, the CDC still recommends that travellers are up to date with their vaccines before travelling internationally.
