City Sightseeing South Africa is launching a new Green Tour in Johannesburg in early November.
The tour will depart from Rosebank daily from 09h00 with the last departure from Rosebank at 15h10, with stops at Zoo Lake, the Johannesburg Zoo, the Military Museum and Constitution Hill.
A one-day ticket will give customers access to both the Green Tour and City Sightseeing’s Johannesburg Red City Tour, with a changeover at Constitution Hill. A two-day ticket will enable customers to spend more time at attractions at each stop. Both the one- and two-day tickets can be upgraded to a combo deal that adds a visit to Soweto to the tour.
Current pricing at the kiosk is R190 for a one-day ticket and R290 for a two-day ticket. A R20 discount is offered with online purchases.
Paul Nel, CEO of City Sightseeing South Africa, said that after three years in Johannesburg, the company felt the time was right to add the second route. “The addition of this route will show the diversity that exists in Johannesburg. We are excited to showcase this beautiful side of Johannesburg.”
City Sightseeing will also operate a free shuttle service between Sandton, Melrose Arch and Rosebank to assist passengers to access the Green Tour in the morning and return them in the late afternoon.
The kiosk at The Zone @ Rosebank will open from 08h30 to 17h00 daily and sell tickets, water, sunblock, CDs, sun hats, caps and memorabilia.
