Coastal Aviation, an East African carrier operating in Tanzania, has announced a number of changes on various routes.
The following changes will be effective from June 1:
- Kilwa and West Kilimanjaro will no longer be served.
- The 13h00 flight from Arusha to Serengeti via Manyara and Kuro will be discontinued.
- The Nairobi to Serengeti flight will depart at 08h30 and routed via Kilimanjaro, with arrival times changing accordingly.
- The Serengeti to Zanzibar direct flight and Serengeti to Ruaha will serve only Seronera and the seasonal capital of migration (Kogatende or Ndutu). Guests from other airstrips may be able to connect in Seronera.
- The connection between Selous and Kilimanjaro will soon be possible via Ruaha, with arrival time allowing passengers to connect with all major international carriers.
- Dolly and Kuro will be served only by the mid-morning flight to Serengeti.
- Flights to/from Tanga, Pemba and Mafia, as well as the Zanzibar-Serengeti-Zanzibar direct flight and the Ruaha/Zanzibar connection will be rescheduled slightly as highlighted in the link below.
All other connections with other coastal and international flights will be maintained.
