A decision to close the Drakensberg Amphitheatre region has been suspended and the area has been reopened to tourists.
Earlier this week, Royal Natal said the area was closed because of safety concerns.
According to Royal Natal, following stakeholder consultation, the area has been reopened.
Another stakeholder meeting to discuss the plan going forward has been scheduled for May 31 at the Royal Natal Education Centre at 10h00. “We would welcome all shareholders who wish to contribute to the positive future of the Amphitheatre as a premier hiking destination and gateway to the Berg,” Royal Natal said in a statement.
