Fly SAA Vacations has an 11-day ‘Active Africa – Adrenaline Adventure’ package that includes the international airfare from $4,999 (€4 621) from New York (JFK) or Washington, D.C. (IAD) to Cape Town.

The departure dates from New York JFK are valid between January 17 to May 31, 2016 and August 11 to December 09, 2016.

All accommodations, including breakfasts, are included. The first three nights are spent in Cape Town at the Southern Sun Cullinan with day activities including kayaking; bicycling; the V&A Waterfront; paragliding from Lion’s Head; and a sunset horseback ride on Noordhoek Beach.

The package also includes shark-cage diving in Gansbaai and a day of activities at Mosaic Sanctuary’s Lagoon Lodge, where visitors can choose from a range of activities including 4x4 beach excursions, quad biking, boat cruises, kayaking and nature walks.
