Motivational speaker, Sibusiso Vilane, the first black African to summit Mount Everest, has made himself available to speak at the Welgevonden lodges two nights a week on his various adventures and to engage with guests in round-the-fire discussions on his exploits.
Vilane has not only conquered Everest twice but has also trekked unaided to the South Pole and become a member of the elite seven-summit club. His most recent commitment (after summiting Mount Kilimanjaro for the sixth time) was to deliver a talk to the Constitutional Court on human rights and the environment.
Vilane can be booked for such engagements via the Welgevonden office. Rates are R2 000 per evening.
