Guided walking safaris have been temporarily suspended at both Elewana Lewa Safari Camp, and Elewana Kifaru House, in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya.
This is due to the Conservancy waiting for the relevant permits to be authorised by the Kenyan Government, to enable highly-trained guides to take guests out on walking safaris safely and with the relevant safety equipment.
The camps’ reservations team has been in contact with clients who have requested walking safaris, to make them aware of this and offer alternatives.
Elewana Collection has confirmed: “We are delighted to confirm that we continue to offer guided walking safaris at Elewana Elephant Pepper Masai Mara, Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli, Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp and Elewana Loisaba Starbeds.”
