Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife has warned that the Black iMfolozi Bridge, Hluhluwe Bridge and the Amanzamnyama stream are flooded.

Those travelling to Ezemvelo’s Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park have been advised to use alternative routes to reach their destination safely.

Both Mpila Resort and Hilltop Resort are not accessible through the Nyalazi Gate due to the flooding at Black iMfolozi Bridge and the Hluhluwe Bridge.

Travellers to Hilltop Resort are advised to use the Memorial Gate. They must take the Maphumulo gravel road on the left before reaching Amanzamnyama stream and then turn into Sitezi Road, which will take them back to tarred roads.

Those travelling to Mpila Resort are advised to use the Cengeni Gate.

Travellers must drive via Hlabisa-Nongoma-Ulundi to access the Cengeni gate from the Nyalazi gate.
