Air Seychelles and Air Austral have announced the establishment of an interline agreement enabling customers to travel between Seychelles and Reunion, via Mauritius, on a single ticket.
The Special Prorate Agreement (SPA), effective immediately, comes after Air Austral made the decision to cancel their non-stop route between Seychelles and Reunion. The flights are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
“It was important for us to be able to offer an alternative service to the Seychelles to our passengers. It’s a destination we know is particularly appreciated by the Reunion islanders and which we hope to be able to resume, as soon as the financial and operational situation will allow it, in agreement with our authorities,” said Joseph Brema, Chairman of the Management Board of Air Austral.
“It is a pleasure for Air Seychelles to be able to intervene and offer another bridge between Seychelles and Reunion at a time when it is most needed. We look forward to a long and fruitful cooperation,” said Sandy Benoiton, Chief Executive of Air Seychelles.
The flight times are as follows:
- Departure from Seychelles at 09h30, arriving in Mauritius at 12h05
- Departure from Mauritius at 14h45. arriving in Reunion at 15h30
- Departure from Reunion at 13h15, arriving in Mauritius at 14h00
