RISING water levels in the Caprivi region have been a cause for major concern for travellers recently, as many roads have been washed away and certain lodges are experiencing operational difficulties as a result of the flooding.
Fearing that guests’ experiences at Ntwala Island Lodge might be compromised by the rising water levels, Islands in Africa has decided to refrain from accepting bookings at the lodge for the next two weeks.
All existing reservations are currently being transferred, most likely to Ntwala’s sister lodges in the Caprivi Strip – Impalila Island Lodge or Susuwe Island Lodge.
Impalila Island Lodge and Susuwe Island Lodge both remain unaffected by the high water and are operating normally.
