Kenya Airways has resumed direct flights to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The flight will depart Nairobi on Wednesdays and Saturdays, returning from New York on Thursdays and Sundays.
Flight KQ002 departs from Nairobi at 23h25 and arrives in New York at 06h25 next day. Flight KQ003 departs New York at 13h45 and arrives in Nairobi the following day at 11h30.
Kenya Airways had suspended its New York service in April as a result of COVID-19.
The airline says return of the New York flights will boost its efforts to rebuild its global network following Kenya opening for international flights on August 1.
The carrier has also resumed other international and regional routes, including London, Dubai, Addis Ababa, Kigali, Dar es Salaam and Lusaka.
