Southern Africa’s premier event for the general aviation industry, which covers the full spectrum of services and products for the sector, AERO South Africa, will take place at Wonderboom National Airport in Pretoria from July 6-8.
AERO South Africa is organised by Messe Frankfurt South Africa in partnership with fairnamic GmbH – the new joint venture of Messe Frankfurt and Messe Friedrichshafen who organise Europe’s largest General Aviation Show – AERO Friedrichshafen.
With 60 exhibitors and a display of aircraft, AERO South Africa offers an opportunity to be exposed to new technologies and to foster dialogue between exhibiting companies, trade buyers, partners and investors, aimed at driving sector growth.
The event will also reintroduce the Business Matchmaking programme, designed to pair exhibiting companies with trade visitors.
Another highlight of this year's event is the Speakers' Corner, featuring a line-up of speakers who will address important topics related to the general aviation industry and to launch new products.
Youth programme
AERO South Africa, in collaboration with the City of Tshwane, The Aviation Development Foundation and Blue-Chip Flight School will present a Youth Development programme for aviation and engineering graduates interested in the general aviation industry.
Graduates are invited to the event for an informative presentation on the vast career opportunities within aviation on July 7.
The session will feature an introduction to general aviation, followed by talks from aviation experts about their personal ‘road to success’ in the industry.
Interested graduates can click here to register for the event. Spaces are limited.
“I want to extend a special word of thanks to the City of Frankfurt in Germany and the owners of Messe Frankfurt SA for the trust they have in our country and our city and having the faith to invest in a general aviation exhibition during the current difficult economic conditions. We firmly believe that your faith and trust in this city is well placed, and that it will bear fruit for Messe Frankfurt as Tshwane is hungry for opportunities, business and development,” said Cilliers Brink, Executive Mayor of Tshwane.
