Exclusive private lodge, Kumbali Country Lodge, situated on a 650-hectare working farm in Lilongwe, Malawi, has unveiled two new offerings – the Summer House and Kumbali Gardens.
The Summer House is a sunlit conservatory filled with vines, potted flora and blossoms interlacing the ceiling. Seating 60 guests, the greenhouse chapel is ideal for intimate events.
Kumbali Gardens is an English-style garden with indigenous and exotic trees, blooms, and pathways across the lawns. The herbaceous borders and flowers make the ideal backdrop for capturing photographs. The gardens are set within the stone walls and turrets of another feature – Kumbali Castle – opening later this year. It is a fort overlooking the valley and can accommodate up to 600 guests. The interior and grounds will offer space for gatherings of all sizes.
Kumbali Country Lodge boasts 16 thatched suites. The Executive and Deluxe Suites offer Internet, tea and coffee facilities, TV and a private veranda.
The lodge also has a restaurant, bar, dining room and a conference centre that can host meetings, workshops, parties, weddings and festivals.
