Readers were asked last week whether they thought business would improve after exhibiting and meeting with international buyers at Africa’s Travel Indaba.
From 63 voters, 38% said they were still ‘unsure’ of exactly how good business would be as a result of exhibiting at Indaba.
35% said they did not believe they would get good business and 27% of respondents were positive and said they were sure they would get good business.
Brain drain?
Following two years of devastation from the COVID-19 pandemic, where companies were forced to retrench, downsize or reduce salaries in an effort to survive, there are signs that industry is feeling the effects of a ‘brain drain’.
