The Vulintaba Country Hotel in the Northern Drakensberg, KwaZulu Natal, opened last week.
The hotel is operated by Forever Resorts – its first in the province – and was opened in collaboration with Nico Oosthuizen from the Ni-Da group, a property management company.
The 69-room Vulintaba Country Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property. Rooms are equipped with LCD flat-screen TVs and feature workspaces, in-room safes, bar fridges and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel is on a golf estate with a nine-hole course that has 18 tee variations. Facilities on the course include a clubhouse, pro shop, driving range and academy.
Also on offer is a 425 sqm Grand Function Room and two additional meeting rooms with multi-media equipment.
Facilities include mountain bike tracks, running tracks, pool, and spa facilities.
Ni-Da recently tarred the 20km road from Newcastle to the Vulintaba Country Estate, giving easy access from the town.
Traditional South African specialities and Asian and European dishes are served with a selection of wines at the restaurant.
Forever Resorts has now established a presence in Gauteng, Limpopo, Free State, Mpumalanga, Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal.
