To meet a growing demand, the Independent Institute of Education (IIE) – registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training – has launched the IIE School of Hospitality and Service Management.
The school has campuses in Johannesburg and Stellenbosch and will offer industry-aligned service and hospitality-focused qualifications.
“The IIE qualifications offered at the school will serve to equip future graduates with both the requisite commercial and operational acumen necessary to successfully navigate the private and public sectors,” said the school’s MD, Renee Hill.
She said the school would also offer students the opportunity to participate in an immersive academic programme.
“Through the school, the IIE seeks to specifically address the rapidly expanding need for service, hospitality and customer-centric education, spanning entry-level through to management level qualifications,” said Hill.
The school will commence with its inaugural intake this month.
Courses offered include:
- The IIE Higher Certificate in Hospitality Management.
- The IIE Bachelor of Hospitality Management.
“With qualifications focused on service-centred innovation, academic quality, employability and industry engagement, our graduates will positively impact and drive both industry-service standards and operations on the global stage,” said Hill.
