The recent opening of Mthimkhulu Wilderness Trails is the genesis of an exciting community-commercial partnership marketed by Dream Hotels & Resorts.
Mthimkhulu Wilderness Trails – Klein Letaba Camp is the first in a planned series of camps. It sleeps eight people and offers guests the chance to experience guided walks through Big 5 country.
The property is wedged between the Klein Letaba and Groot Letaba rivers unfenced to the bordering Kruger National Park.
The camp is situated 62km north of Phalaborwa Airport which is serviced daily by Airlink from Johannesburg.
The property will play host to a number of camps that will offer guests the opportunity to do safari walks from one to another, while also offering a luxury main lodge, called Bank Lodge (+/-60 sleeper) on a superb site overlooking the Groot Letaba River.
Klein Letaba Camp offers guests the chance to have an intimate experience with nature. Amenities are basic but the experience is rich. Expect camp-fire cooking under the stars, game drives, guided walks along the Klein Letaba, game tracking, breakfast in the bush and tuning into the wild. Experiences can be tailored to each group.
