The Tour and Safari Association of Namibia (TASA) has launched an online visa application platform to help ease the process for visitors to Namibia.

The web application, developed by TASA, should streamline the process of different kinds of visa applications that are handled by the Ministry of Home Affairs on behalf of the applicant.

The portal can be accessed by individuals and tourism companies applying for visas and permits, including holiday or tourist visas, extensions and renewals. The web portal can be accessed via portal.tasa.na. Users can find tutorials on the application process within the portal.

TASA was founded in 1989 and is a voluntary private-sector body that acts on behalf of its members to encourage the development of responsible tourism in Namibia, ensure standards and reliability in the Namibian tourism industry, and further the common interests of Namibian tour operators.
