Corfield Camps opened in Tarangire National Park in Tanzania earlier this year.
The camp, run by Tim and Roger Corfield, is a guide-centric camp, allowing guides who accompany guests to stay free of charge.
Corfield Camps has a boutique feel with special in-house furnishings that can be folded up and put in a box at a moment’s notice, all made in-house.
The camp comprises five tents, which can accommodate three adults, or two adults and two children, and there are plans to expand to eight by next year.
While relaxing on the verandah, guests can spot a variety of wildlife.
Corfield Camps is 15 minutes from the park gate, and conveniently located, as guests can land at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the afternoon and head straight to Tarangire, arriving three hours later.
The Game Package on offer includes full board with game drives in the camp’s specialised open vehicle with professional English-speaking guides.
Other activities include night game drives, walking safaris, bush sundowners and bush dining.
