Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has resumed its service between Muscat and the Maldives. The airline had previously only operated flights to Malé via Sri Lanka, having cancelled its direct service in 2016.
The airline will fly direct from Muscat International Airprot to Malé Velana International Airport three times a week, every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 737-Max 8 in a two-class configuration, with 12 business class seats and 150 economy class.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- Flight WY383 will depart Muscat at 08h50, arriving in Malé at 13h30.
- Flight WY384 will depart Malé at 18h50, arriving in Muscat at 00h35.
