Tom Rutherford has been appointed new GM of the Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spas, by MD George Cohen.

Rutherford began his career at The Cape Grace Hotel, where he served in both the guest relations and food and beverage management departments. He also managed various lodges for the Singita group. Later on he became the GM for the Sabi Sands properties, which include Boulders, Ebony and Castleton.
