Commercial flights will soon be available from Wonderboom Airport, which is situated north of Pretoria.

Tshwane Mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa announced the news during a State of the Capital address. He said scheduled passenger flights would be available from Wonderboom Airport to Cape Town International Airport from August this year.

“We are proud to welcome SAA and Airlink in this regard, who have entered into a commercial joint venture for the purpose of providing new scheduled air services at the airport,” he said.
